Provo Police Property and Evidence Room Supervisor Doris Grant
Doris Grant has been with the Provo Police Department since September 1990, when she started as a part-time employee in the Records Division. Doris was hired as a full-time employee in early 1991, and then transferred to the Detective’s Division shortly after. In November 2011, Doris was asked to take on a new assignment in the Operational Support Services Division with her primary assignment being that of the Special Events Coordinator, and the assistant to the Captain and Lieutenant of the Operational Support Services Division. She also held the titles of VIPS Coordinator, Social Media Assistant, and Crossing Guard Coordinator. In January of 2014 Doris was selected for the position of Property and Evidence Room Supervisor. The Property and Evidence Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the evidentiary chain of custody and integrity of confiscated property and evidence. Doris’ longevity and expertise at the department are a great resource for others. She exhibits a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and a high level of professional conduct when working with fellow City employees, other agencies, and the citizens of the community.
