Welcome Home - George Taylor Jr House

One of Provo's oldest structures is sporting a new look and will be welcoming a new family. It's not easy to renovate a 130 year-old house and keep the features that make it a historical treasure.

The George Taylor Jr. home was built in 1885. With the help of Provo Redevelopment Agency and other funding as well as countless hours of volunteer labor, Habitat for Humanity of Utah County did an amazing job of restoring the home.

The City Council approved the Redevelopment Agency funding back in early 2012 that contributed to this project. An open house allowed the public to view the home's new look last week and now the new owners will be moving in to become part of Provo's Timp Neighborhood.

Welcome Home!
